Grubb Properties' commitment to quality work and timely delivery began with the construction of its first single-family home in 1963. Our team, with more than 100 years of collective experience in the construction and project management industry, offer responsive, cost-effective services in engineering, project management, scheduling, claims avoidance, government-regulation compliance and sustainability.

Our experience prevents factors that result in change orders, budget overruns, delays and scheduling problems during construction. Our in-depth knowledge of the design process, contract language, creation of schedule, construction techniques and pricing helps our clients proactively assess potential issues early in the process while they are still preventable. As the development and/or project manager, our goal is to reduce construction risk, control construction costs, keep the project on schedule, limit impacts on adjacent properties and ensure high construction quality.

We work with our owners to make sure construction documents are clear, complete and executable. We focus on ensuring consistency between the drawings, specifications and general conditions. We are there at every stage of the project, including conceptual planning design, complete construction oversight and post-construction services. We act as the owner’s agent to minimize the total costs of the project by proactive planning, assuring the highest level of efficiency, mitigating risks and potential claims, determining the best delivery methodology for each client and implementing the latest sustainable practices.

Most of our developments comply with the National Green Building Standards or comparable certifications. We have been successful in securing millions of dollars in tax credits and tax deductions for our commitment to incorporate sustainable investments in our properties.

  • Link Apartments® West End

    Link Apartments® West End is the fourth development in Grubb Properties’ Link® Apartments brand. The 215-unit urban multifamily project is on a 1.3-acre site located two blocks from Greenville’s Riverplace, a mixed-use development that includes the Peace Center and access to Falls Park along the Reedy River. The property is also in close proximity to the Fluor Baseball Stadium and Main Street. It features a clubhouse, controlled-access parking garage, solar-heated saline pool, dog park with dog spa, yoga mezzanine, cycle center, outdoor fire pet and recreation area, and rooftop open-air chef’s kitchen.

  • Paradigm Park

    Paradigm Park consists of two four-story buildings in an office park directly adjacent to the Research Triangle Park and just off of 1-40 on the Chapel Hill side of the area. The parcel is approximately 16 acres. Significant enhancements are planned, including new lobbies, bathrooms, resurfaced parking, new ADA ramps, roof replacement, and extensive landscaping. 

  • Park at Perimeter Center East

    Park at Perimeter Center East consists of three mid-rise office buildings on a combined and contiguous land area of 19.5 acres in Atlanta, GA. It is located in the heart of Atlanta’s largest office submarket, just north of I-285 near the intersection of Ashford Dunwoody Road. Grubb Properties’ capital improvement program includes renovating restrooms, upgrading elevators cabs, roof replacement on one of the buildings, asphalt repairs, and other measures to improve the tenant experience and energy efficiency.  

  • Sterling Beaufont

    Sterling Beaufont is a 312-unit multifamily property in Richmond, VA. Grubb Properties purchased the property in 2014 and began improvements and renovations including a completely redesigned clubhouse, new siding and windows, and new signage. The clubhouse renovation includes a new fitness center, resident social center, and laundry room, and new furniture. 

  • Sterling Glenwood

    Sterling Glenwood is a 254-unit multifamily property in Raleigh’s Glenwood neighborhood. Grubb Properties purchased the property in 2013 and instituted improvements including a new pool and poolhouse, new signage, completion of renovations to the lobby and fitness center, and the addition of a bike center and a dog park.
