After years of forging partnerships with the town of Chapel Hill, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Innovate Carolina, we are helping bring a Qualified Opportunity Zone district in Chapel Hill to life. With leasing partner JLL, we are actively leasing for Phase 1 with offices and cutting-edge lab and wet lab space ready to accommodate the next generation of life sciences and technology in one of the nation’s most enviable locations. A future Link Apartments® development will contribute a needed housing option to this diverse neighborhood.

Innovate Carolina is the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill’s department for innovation, entrepreneurship and economic development. They have taken occupancy of 20,000+ sq ft of inspiring office space in the newly refurbished 136 E. Rosemary St. building and have made a firm statement of their commitment to reinvention.

Biolabs - With a goal to change how scientific entrepreneurs do business, Biolabs supplies an ecosystem that empowers bioinnovators to grow quickly. They have leases for both the 3rd floor of 136 E. Rosemary St. and the 3rd floor of 137 E. Franklin St. Their co-working spaces for life science startups, along with their unique places to test, develop and grow game-changing ideas will be the foundation of this emerging district.
