Link Apartments® QPN, Long Island City’s newest rental building, passes 60% leased milestone

LONG ISLAND CITY, NY – July 28, 2025 – Link Apartments® QPN, located at 41-46 27th Street, Long Island City, has quickly leased over 60% of the building’s market-rate apartments after making its official debut in Long Island City in late March.

The 26-story rental building features 417 apartments with rents starting from the $4,700’s, including grand opening incentives of up to two months free. Immediate occupancy is available. The Marketing Directors is the exclusive marketing and leasing agent.

“We’re proud that Link Apartments® QPN has been so well received,” said Clay Grubb, CEO, Grubb Properties, the investor, developer and manager of the property. “Leasing this many residences in such a short time highlights the building’s appeal, including its inspired design, top-line amenities and convenient transportation access. It also serves as evidence of the surging pent-up demand for high-quality apartments offering exceptional value in one of New York City’s most sought-after neighborhoods.”

Designed by Handel Architects, the residences feature nine-foot ceilings, luxury plank flooring, in-home washer and dryer, and complimentary window treatments. The kitchens boast stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and full-height backsplash, soft-close cabinetry, and under-cabinet lighting, along with porcelain tile floors and tiled wet walls in the baths.

Residents at Link Apartments® QPN will also enjoy over 35,000 sq. ft. of curated amenities, including a 24-hour concierge, outdoor pool and sundeck with cabanas and outdoor shower, rooftop terrace with skyline views, and barbeques and outdoor dining areas. Other highlights include a resident lounge, state-of-the-art fitness center, co-working spaces, library nook, game room, and a garden courtyard with two dog runs. On-site storage for residents, as well as bike storage, is available, and the pet-friendly building hosts a pet spa.

The building also includes 7,000 square feet of ground floor retail space.

One of Link Apartments® QPN’s best amenities is a 7-minute commute to Manhattan with direct access to the Metropolitan Transit Authority’s (MTA) Queensboro Plaza subway station’s 7, N and W trains from the building through a new, fully accessible entrance, pedestrian bridge connection and additional elevator. Grubb Properties partnered with the Department of City Planning and Metropolitan Transportation Authority to participate in New York’s Zoning for Accessibility program. Link Apartments® QPN was the first project to be completed under the program.

Art plays a notable role in the design of Link Apartments® QPN’s amenities and common spaces aiming to inspire residents, beautify their surroundings and help foster a sense of community. Grubb Properties commissioned original pieces, including several by local artists, that reflect the character of the building and the neighborhood. The artwork is displayed throughout the building, including in the first-floor lounge and mail room, the 12th floor lounge and co-working space, and the elevator lobbies.

Link Apartments® QPN recently welcomed the Long Island City community to a curated evening celebrating art, conversation and connection featuring artists whose work is featured throughout the apartment building: John Clement, Yuki Li, Emilio Perez, and Naomi Kawanishi Reis. Other artists whose work is installed at Link Apartments® QPN include KAWS, Stefan Heyne, Tara Donovan and Liz Roache.

Handel Architects drew inspiration for the design of Link Apartments® QPN from the industrial feel of the waterfront warehouse structures that previously lined the Queens waterfront, expressed in an ironspot brick and varied fenestration pattern.
