Grubb Properties Continues Volunteer Support for Habitat for Humanity
Grubb Properties has a longstanding partnership with Habitat for Humanity. It reflects our passion for bringing people together with homes they love and underscores our commitment to giving back to the communities where we live and work.
Since 2018, we’ve sponsored and built homes with Habitat for Humanity in Winston-Salem, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, and Lexington in North Carolina, as well as in Greenville, South Carolina, and Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2025, the Grubb Giving Committee continues its work to connect team members with Habitat for Humanity volunteer opportunities in every market where we have a presence. Instead of focusing on one full house build in one location, we are supporting Habitat for Humanity in every location where our company has a corporate office or an apartment community. To date, we have been working with local Habitat chapters across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia to schedule volunteer days, and we are in communication with chapters in other locations to find how we can participate and support their current projects.
Last year, this approach allowed our team members to collaborate with multiple local Habitat chapters. With the company lending support across multiple locations, every Grubb Properties team member can make a meaningful difference in their respective communities and embody our guiding principle of Creating Community.
Volunteering is an important part of the Grubb Properties culture. Every Grubb Properties employee receives up to 48 hours of paid time off to dedicate to volunteer activities. Many devote these hours to volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.
We extend our sincere thanks to all team members and our partners who have sponsored the Grubb Giving Committee, and our Habitat for Humanity builds over the years.
