From the scale of our operations to the small details that make our communities special, here’s a look at Link Apartments® through facts and figures that showcase our reach, impact, and commitment to boosting housing availability in the missing middle. These communities provide moderately priced apartments in urban areas for households earning 60 percent or more of the area median income (above the cut-off for public housings subsidies), but less than 140 percent of AMI. Residents span a wide range of professions and walks of life from health care workers to educators to college and post-grad students.

  • 20 Link Apartments® communities open and operating across 7 states and the District of Columbia
  • 4,947 total residential units currently open
  • 95.5% average occupancy rate across stabilized properties as of the end of 2025, outpacing the national average occupancy rate of 94.6%, according to Yardi
  • 739 new units under development
  • 177 residents at nine multifamily communities qualify for our Long-Term Resident Program, which caps rent increases for residents who have lived with us for 5 years or longer

Resident Services & Amenities

  • 97.4% of resident service requests (from a total of more than 23,000) were fulfilled within 24 hours across our portfolio in 2025, minimizing the disruption to our residents’ daily routines. This work ranges from routine appliance repairs to restoring air conditioning during a heat wave, as well as responding to unexpected after-hours emergencies
  • Dozens of monthly resident events hosted across our properties ranging from a holiday Belgian waffle bar to Xtreme Music Bingo to a rooftop “Link Up” professional networking event

Sustainability Initiatives

  • 2,130 bike and scooter storage spaces that enable our residents to be multimodal
  • 145 electric vehicle charging ports installed across our communities. In total, the EV chargers across our portfolio saved the equivalent of 60,000+ gallons of gasoline in 2025.
  • 100% of our Link Apartments® communities have earned or are pending a green certification
  • Residents’ energy usage and spending is 15% below comparable properties
  • Energy usage in owner-paid portions is 29% less than comparable properties
  • Water usage in owner-paid portions is 34% less than comparable properties
